No previous horse experience needed. Students will receive horse riding experience in Western & English Equitation, Showmanship, and Horsemanship. Campers will be grouped by experience, and sessions are open to ride up to your ability. We will be walk, trot, and canter as abilities allow.

June 25-27, 2024 Summer Riding Camp B Beginning equitation taught using English or western tack. No previous horse experience needed. However, the experienced rider will be challenged to improve their skills daily. Basics like grooming, care, riding English and Western Equitation, and showmanship. Students will walk, trot, canter as abilities allow. Bring sack lunch, water bottle. Wear layered clothing, boots or closed toed shoes, helmet (or borrow ours).

SERIOUS INJURY MAY RESULT FROM YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THIS ACTIVITY.

I______________________________ participant the undersigned have read and understand, and freely and voluntarily enter into this release & hold harmless agreement with Herrold Stables, LLC, Herrold Stables & Farm, Daniel J. Herrold, and Elaine L. Herrold, and/or anyone in their employ, understanding that this release & hold harmless agreement is a waiver of any and all liabilities.
I understand the potential dangers that I could incur in being near, mounting, riding, walking, feeding, Herrold Stables, LLC, Herrold Stable & Farms’ Horses; including, but not limited to, any interactions with other horses. Understanding these risks, I hereby release that Herrold Stables, LLC, Herrold Stables & Farm, its owners, employees and anyone else directly or indirectly connected with Herrold Stables, LLC, Herrold Stables & Farm from any liability whatsoever in the event of injury or damage of any nature (or perhaps even death) to me or anyone else caused by or incidental or my electing to mount and ride a horse owned or operated by Herrold Stables, LLC, and Herrold Stables & Farm.
I understand and recognize and warrant that this release and hold harmless agreement, is being voluntarily and intentionally signed and agreed to, and that in signing this release and hold harmless agreement I know and understand that this release and hold harmless agreement may further limit the liability of equine professionals to include any activity, whatsoever, involving an equine, including death, personal injury and or damage to property.
I recognize and agree that I know which equine professional I will be working with, and acknowledge that I agree said equine professional has/have made reasonable and prudent efforts to determine my ability to engage in the equine activity, and has/have sufficient knowledge of my equine and horseback riding skills as to relieve, release and hold harmless said equine professional from any continuing duty and monitor my equine activities.
I further voluntarily agree and warrant to Release and Hold Harmless this (these) equine professional (s) from any liability whatsoever, including, but not limited to, any incident caused by or related to said equine professional negligence, relating to injuries known, unknown, or otherwise not herein disclosed; including, but not limited to, injuries, death or property damage from: mounting; riding; dismounting; walking; grooming; feeding; use of horse, barn, paddock, trails, or horse ring, arena, in any capacity; falling off horse whether horse is bucking, flipping, spooked; or my failure to understand any equine professionals directions relating to my riding or otherwise use and control, or lack thereof, of my horse or the horse I have been assigned to. All minor children must be accompanied by and are the responsibility of adult when on property.
I have been advised by Herrold Stables, LLC, and Herrold Stables & Farm that an approved protective helmet is suggested at all times while riding my or any other horse in their care, or not, on or off owner’s property. I have also been advised to wear appropriate attire and boots for my own personal safety. By signing this liability release I acknowledge their advice and suggestion.
Due to the 2019-2022 outbreak of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), our business is taking extra precautions with the care of every client to include health history review and enhanced sanitation/disinfecting procedures in compliance with CDC guidance.
Symptoms of COVID-19 include: • Fever • Fatigue • Dry Cough • Difficulty Breathing
I agree to the following:
  • I understand the above symptoms and affirm that I, as well as all household members, do not currently have, nor have experienced the symptoms listed above.
  • I understand that Herrold Stables, LLC or/and Herrold Stables & Farm cannot be held liable for any exposure to the COVID-19 virus caused by misinformation on this form or the health history provided by each client.
By signing below, I agree to each statement above and release Herrold Stables & Farm from any and all liability for unintentional exposure or harm due to COVID-19. Signature of Rider or Parent of Minor Rider entering into this Release & Hold Harmless Agreement:
